About Our Partnership Volunteer Program

At the Border Artist Society, we believe collaboration strengthens community impact. Through our Partnership Program, we team up with local organizations to provide free art courses that foster creativity, healing, and self-expression. These partnerships allow us to reach diverse groups in our community and make art accessible to those who need it most.

Our current partners include:

  • Willow Creek Adult Day Care – Offering monthly art classes that encourage seniors and adults in care to explore their creativity.
  • Wintergarden Women’s Shelter – Hosting workshops that support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault through creative self-expression and healing.
  • Eagle Pass Public Health Coalition – Collaborating on Create With Me, a monthly class that promotes mental health, wellness, and community connection through art.

By working alongside partners, BAS expands opportunities for creative engagement and ensures that the arts continue to serve as a vital tool for connection, resilience, and empowerment.
