This fall, the Border Artist Society is excited to host a new season of classes and workshops designed for all ages and skill levels. From digital art and linocut printing to improv and traditional bookbinding, our programs are meant to spark creativity, build skills, and connect our community through the arts. New classes may be added throughout the season, so stay tuned for fresh opportunities to learn, create, and grow with us.

This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone curious about creating art on an iPad or tablet. Participants will explore the basics of Procreate and Adobe Fresco, learn how to set up a canvas for print, and understand the difference between raster and vector brushes. No experience needed — just bring your device and creativity!

Our improv certification series is designed to help participants sharpen their quick-thinking skills, embrace collaboration, and build confidence in front of an audience. Through games, exercises, and performances, you’ll learn the art of storytelling and comedic timing while working toward an official improv certification.

Experience the hands-on process of linocut printmaking, an art form that blends carving, inking, and pressing to create bold, textured designs. Participants will learn how to design and carve their own linoleum blocks, then transfer their work into a series of original prints to keep and share.

Discover the elegance of traditional Japanese bookbinding in this craft-focused workshop. Participants will be guided through the art of stitching and binding handmade journals using centuries-old techniques. By the end, you’ll leave with a unique, handcrafted book that highlights both function and beauty.
