“I helped start the Border Artist Society to create space for artists like me—whose voices are shaped by life on the border—to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Our stories matter, and through art, we can build community, inspire change, and show the world the beauty and strength of the frontera.

It’s also about building a supportive network where artists can grow together, collaborate, and amplify each other’s work.”
